Oh yes, I call them by each other's names all the time!!! But when I will little my mom when she was angry would go through all the names in the house, including cats and dogs before she would get to you! That is when you knew she was REALLY mad!!! (Strangely enough, my husband has similar stories from his childhood days....I think its a trend!)
1My mom did the same Aphrosette. It was like "Jeff, Sean, Karen (her sister, she would always call me that, lol)" and then finally she would scream "SARAH" That's when I knew she was mad, and it was time for me to run, ha!
Anyway, yeah, I've called the cat by the SO's name and I've called my SO by the cats name. If I'm actually angry I find it annoying, if not it's pretty funny.
2I only have one dog at present, but years ago we had a male dog named Hobie and then dog-sat for a puppy named Yogi. By the end of the visit, I was calling them both Hogie, the names were too close for me to get it right. Course, Hobie also got called "Hobie wan Kenobi" more times than my husband cared for...can't help being a geek.
3I've done it. After I spend some significant time with one of our family dogs, Teddy (English Bulldog), who's equally as weird and odd looking as my Eegor, I find myself calling Eegor, Teddy, and vice versa. My Mom has accidentally called my husband, Eegor though, HAHAHA!
4all the time! bexley is mac (who is dead!), patterson is bexley and everything else!
5My mom did that all the time, but she called us kids by the animals' names, rarely the other way around. Grandpa avoided this by calling every dog he had Duke so the correct name was always easy to remember haha
6I do it all the time. I have to keep my daughter's name straight with my sister's 3 kids. Then I have to keep our 2 dogs straight with my parent's 3 animals. I slip up all the time.
7Good to know my mom wasn't the only one who used everyones names when angry! haha
8My gods name is B-Bop and my boyfriend is Brendan so I mix them up a lot. Oopsy
My brother's name is Jack and my dog's name is Jake so yeah...definitely done that one!
9My dog's name is Fox and I've called him Charlie (which was my previous dog's name.)
10Rarely but it happens. We have a dog and a cat so I'm sure a lot of people can guess who usually wants to get into more trouble and has more cause to be "yelled" at.
11I have one dog that is naughtier than the other so when my "good" dog is naughty I always end up yelling the other one's name!
12Hahaha, my mom used to always yell "Sherman" (the dog's name) at my little brother.
13Yup, every time I try tell off one of my cats, I yell out my brother's name first, then my partner's name, before finally getting to the cat.
14Haha I definitely do this! Sometimes I call my pets by each others' names, sometimes I call them by my deceased pets' names, and sometimes I do what was previously mentioned; I shout a bunch of random names until it's the right one!
