Dental Swipes: Spoiled Sweet or Spoiled Rotten?

It's hard to keep those chompers clean, especially if your pets aren't too fond of the toothbrushing process. Now, the concept of these Fast and Fresh Dental Swipes ($16) sounds great . . . kinda like a disinfecting wipe for your pets' teeth. The pre-moistened pads have an all-natural combo of peppermint, parsley, and baking soda to fight plaque and bacteria and promote healthy gums and teeth. But do you think the 50 pads a pack are worth the price . . . or the application process?

These sound interesting and I'll have to look for them! Our dog is not fond of getting her teeth brushed either so we have to try other options... bones work really well and so do bright bites dental treats. Getting rid of plaque and tartar is my biggest concern.

This is a great idea! I'll have to look into these for my babies, especially since they both despise having their teeth cleaned.

I would love to use these. Scruffles is impossible with the toothbrush and if these help keep cleanings to every two years instead of every year then it may be worth it. They are pricey though. I dollar a wipe?? I wonder if they really clean the teeth or just freshen them.

My dog was due to have a dental at the vets today, but after blood tests a kidney infection was picked up and they couldn't go ahead. These may have saved all the worry. Now we have to get a water sample from her to be anylised to see if she should be on a drip while having a dental which has to be sorted for another day. BTW has anybody managed to get a water sample from a little Yorkie bitch who's very close to the floor? If so let me know how please.

this is great. max doesn't really like his teeth cleaned, not that i've tried hard. usually greenies do the trick..but i'll have to pick these up and give 'em a try.
