Thank God he made it! And, DAMN, he/she made it look easy. As I saw him/her waddle pass that woman, the words "just passing through" popped into my head. ;) - It reminds me of... the Wood Duck that nests in trees - Yeah, IN trees, & when the ducklings are old enough, they literally JUMP from their nests to the ground, & head for the water. - First time I saw it happen was on a wildlife documentary & nearly screamed when this duckling's head popped out of the hole in the trunk, glanced around then stepped out - slowly followed by 8/9 others. The camera followed each one's plunge to the ground & I envisioned flattened bodies... but no, each one kinda bounced a little, got up & waddled off into the water.
