Bare Bones: Pretty With a Purpose Cat Tree

I don't even own a kitty, but I love this new, stylish cat tree from IKEA. BÄSTIS BLOND doesn't scream pet owner when company comes and won’t detract from your home’s décor as many function focused pet essentials can do. The wall-mounting feature allows it to double up as mod art installation while taking up less space than a traditional kitty playground. It just looks fun with climbing, scratching, and jumping possibilities plus nice landings for multiple cats and multiple naps.

Just saw this in-store last weekend, its cute, really tall, but I'd definitely get one when we get a cat. I'll have to convince my husband, he thinks its vile.

I love it! My cats would adore having it (particularly if I smear it in cat nip like all of the scratching posts). I wish it as available online or at the IKEA in Elizabeth ... sigh.

awesome! i think i'm going to get this. i needed something for my cat that didn't take up too much space because i'm in an apartment! this looks perfect!

isn't IKEA great?! :) i think the design of this is amazing - i'd love it in a darker color so it looks more like a tree.

I think it's a nice scratching post, but it's no substitute for a gym/condo. We have carpeted stairs that the cats L O V E and it's going to be sad to move because of them. We also have an atrium the cats love, but that's another story. This is a cat-house...in a good way, not the whore way.

My cats would love this!! My dad has made them a few scratching/climbing posts because I don't want to spend $100/200 on a kitty condo, but this is even better. They'd go crazy over this...I'll have to check it out next time I'm at Ikea.

After seeing the price, I'll wait until hubby makes one. :) And the kitties will just have to live with a boring scratching post!

My husband is supposed to make one for our kitties, but it's taking awhile! Football takes precendence right now. :) I'll have to check out the price on this! My kittens would love it.
