A group of owls is called a parliament, and these young'uns certainly must be holding court at the RSPCA's West Hatch Wildlife Centre in Taunton, England. Thirty-three baby birds found their way to the center between January and July, most likely due to the UK's turbulent weather this year. These tawny owlets are awaiting their release back into the wild . . . and hopefully not more ferocious wind!

Never heard of Julie Foucher? She's the women's runner-up of the 2012 CrossFit Games, which means she's the second "Fittest Woman on Earth." I actually had the chance to meet Julie at the 2012 CrossFit Games afterparty, and she was everything I expected and more. She was kind, humble, and sweet, and definitely a role model for female athletes everywhere. Julie works hard in every aspect of her life, and seeing this motivates me to become a better version of myself. Here are three reasons why Julie Foucher inspires me.

On the list of the world's 10 fastest land animals, you'd expect to find the normal cast of characters like the cheetah, Pronghorn Antelope, and Quarter Horse. And it's true: oxen appear nowhere on that list. But these noble bovine can run, as evidenced by the fifth-ever Bavarian ox-racing championship held over the weekend. Occurring only once every four years, the contest begins with a flower-filled procession while the main event pits beast of burden against draft animal in a furious dash across a field to the finish line. We hope that all that hoofing earns the competitors a break from their regular farm labor!

It seems as if our pets are always on the receiving end of any pampering treatments. But this kid has the right idea. It's time to take a stand against one-sided back-scratching and teach our pets how to reciprocate!
Wondering why Fido's leg shakes when you scratch certain spots? It's an involuntary reflex that occurs when you activate nerves that identify your scratching as an irritant. Your pooch automatically attempts to alleviate the "itch" even though you're the one doing both the itching and the scratching!
It's time for the final I'm a Huge Fan: Kristen Bell! After a series of exciting adventures, our lucky winner Madison is ready for her big meeting. In episode one, Madison and her friend flew to LA and were treated to a fashion makeover to find the perfect outfit for her interview. In episode two, Madison got to meet a sloth and record a Gossip Girl voice-over in the studio where Kristen actual works. It was all leading up to this — check out their adorable chat. Kristen opened up about working with fiancé Dax Shepard — and learning who is actually the most important person in his life — plans for a Veronica Mars movie, whether she'll actually appear in Gossip Girl this season, and, of course, her love of sloths. Big thanks to Revolve Clothing. Check out I'm a Huge Fan: Kristen Bell and see Hit and Run in theaters now.
Talk with your hands! While tiny treats are key motivators to any positive training session, there's something else you should be doing — In addition to using the chosen words for sit, stay, and more, also select a distinctive gesture for each command. It's really up to you to choose the hand movement that feels natural, as long as you stick to it once you settle, but get inspired by standard signals and start this slideshow.
You know you've become a little too obsessed with a new pair of gym shoes when your dog gets excited every time you reach for them because she knows that means it is playtime! While I'm a sucker for the Reebok SmoothFlex Run sneakers (with the neon orange laces!), I think my dog, Sadie, may be an even bigger fan.
