Welcome, Autumn! In honor of falling leaves and colder weather, I've rounded up ways to bring the outdoors in with this month's must haves. Check 'em out and start the slideshow.
If you haven't yet ooohed and ahhed over this baby hippo, the newborn from the Netherlands is actually a Pygmy (like Monifa), which is different than the standard-sized Nile hippopotamuses. Obviously the Pygmy hippos are much smaller (and rarer), but exactly how much smaller and rarer? Find out when you take this quiz!Take the Quiz
So waste not, want not and make that toy do double duty. Personally, I love the idea of using this as a travel bowl — in a pinch, the plastic shape can act as a water holder for an impromptu drink. It's perfect for thirsty pups and even rinses itself clean to make it perfect for you, too.

Now dumping the clumps in the trash works just fine for out-of-sight, out-of-mind but maybe not out-of-nose. If you'd rather keep that mess out of your kitchen altogether, check out the LitterLocker ($30). To use, empty the scoop and turn the handle to seal stinky poo away inside a 3-layer plastic bag for extra protection. Refill bag rolls are $9 for a two-month supply, is this too pricey for you?

I love to tweet and sometimes post about the animals I see while out and about and my new group makes it more fun (and easier!) than ever. One of the newest features of the PetSugar Community is the ability to mobile blog! To celebrate I've created a Spotted! group where you can share photos of the cute pets you pass, wildlife you encounter and any breed or product questions you come across on those daily adventures.
- If you're not already a community member, create an account.
- Next up, click Join Group on the top right-hand side of the Spotted! group.
- After you register, please go to Edit Profile under your member name drop-down, click on the Post by Email tab, and follow the simple instructions on that page.
- Now you're free to post piccys straight from your cell phone! Simply send a message with the photo attached, a title in the subject line, and any text in the body of the email to email@example.com — you'll get an email back asking you to confirm so just reply and it should show up in just a few minutes! (Get a detailed explanation of how to do this here.)

Slosh, slosh, slurp, slurp, this talented pup drinks water with her mouth and whole nose in the bowl! I mean even though dogs use tongues like a scoop for water, the dobie seems to enjoy her "bucket-snorkeling" technique with no coughing or wheezing. I can't figure out how Moosley mastered this technique, but I can bet why her water bowl's outside!
