Today it snowed nearly two feet! After shoveling a bit, I thought Harlow and Biscuit might want to come out and see what snow is all about. It was difficult to take Biscuit's pic, due to her small size and lightning fast speed, but I managed to snap a good one while she took a break. They both had a blast!

We've heard all about Kellan's love for this pooch and his newly rescued pup, Kevin, so hats off to the animal lover as well. According to the actor, she'd like to get into acting, too — check out the clip where Kellan talks about that and her special bandana when you read more
Collective aww. Only two days old here and Jamuna Toni already knows how to show his love! The lil elephant busted onto the scene last week with a series of hilarious shots — like trying to snag the keeper's keys with his snout and blowing air at the camera — and I'm sensing a future star here. After all, it was the cutie elephant named Luk Chai who captured this year's biggest zoo ham title (in our Best of 2009 poll), and it looks like Munich's Hellabrunn Zoo has a posing handful on their .... errr, hands?

With the recent Winter storms, the first puppy got a special treat last week — his first snow! Although there are no signs that he considers this a yummy snack, Bo definitely got in deep with the wet fluffy stuff and posed for pictures in DC.Since the work of a presidential pup is never done, he accompanied Michelle and the girls to a storytime at the Children's National Medical Center, showing off his superb high five skills once again. I'm glad to see more pictures of the growing dog, even if he wasn't crowned your new puppy of the year, he's still pretty cute nonetheless.

Do you ever pick up some of the local flavor for your furry friends even when you're apart? I spotted these chic collars while on my vacation last week but, since North can't wear collars, they weren't an option for us. From touristy tees to locally-made treats, would you buy and bring goodies for pets back home?
It's time to get clever! A picture is worth a thousand words, but those messages vary from person to person. What do you think these kitties are thinking, feeling, or doing in this pic? Offer your sayings or quotes for this funny photo in your comments below, and I'll do a roundup next week of some of my faves.
