We are burying her in the Pet Garden at Valley of the Temples in Kaneohe. Nunu hated the water so we couldn't bring ourselves to having her ashes scattered in the ocean. Three months from now you'll be able to find a bronze plaque inscribed with just her name there. If you'd like to leave a flower or a toy, I'm sure she'd love it.
RIP, little doggie!

So instead of sitting around wondering — or trying to ask the animal itself — just come on into the PetSugar Community and type your questions! We've just added an Ask the Community Anything box, so you have a quick and easy way to inquire away! Limited to 128 characters, get straight to the point and then get straight answers from all of us. While you're there, chime in with your opinions and advice about others' questions as well, so join the conversations now! (And don't worry, there's still a Pet Peeves group for those lengthier tales.)
Come and get it! I can think of several food commercials that play on the catty cliché of a kit and can opener, showing felines popping up out of nowhere at just one turn of the crank. Now even though these creatures have better hearing than we do regardless, even dogs can recognize the sound of scooping food or rustling of wrappers.
My pooch easily names that jingly tune as I take his harness and leash off the hook for a walk, comes running the minute I throw the covers off and set foot on the floor, and naturally his overjoyed excitement at the brrrring of my door's buzzer prompts me never to have anyone ring it. What melodies do your pets know by heart?
Bo Obama (and his human fam) spent a memorable weekend in Chicago for Memorial Day — lucky dog! While the presidential pup didn't spend this holiday working as he has in the past, and there was no parade in his honor, he seemed to enjoy a long walk about town as a pooch of leisure. I'm still wondering if the Portuguese Water Dog found time to take a dip, too, as his breed name implies.
This sighting reveals yet another leash, which makes me think Bo boasts quite the collection to lead the way — see more of his walk through the Windy City in the gallery below.
