Although at first glance this reminded me of a popup laundry basket from Ikea, checking out the Pet Tube [1] strapped into a car seat shed a whole new light on this creative animal carrier. Now I haven't seen the "heavy duty fabric" closeup so I can't vouch for tooth or clawproof capabilities, but it does fold conveniently for easy storage and transport when not in use. This seems to be a useful creation for small ($80) or large ($150) pets that will be content not struggling to stay in this well-ventilated spot...with the optional cushion pillow ($30-$95), of course. North already has his own carseat [2] so I'm not rushing out to buy another, but share your thoughts on this item in the comments below!
