Now I've already shared some petsolutions to get your pooch off to a healthy new year . . . but I'm curious to know how you're doing, too! Excluding trips to specialists like dentists or optometrists, are you like clockwork setting appointments for yourself or does a pet have you beat with checkups, shots, and general mishaps?

My Kitty has to go in soon...I just don't have the dough right now! She needs to get spayed...
1My cats go in every six months for check ups, one of them goes every six months for dentals, and they go once a year for required vaccines. I don't go to the doctor unless something is wrong!
2yep same here mandy..i don't go unless something doesn't feel right. max goes a few times a year.
3My dog just went to a dog dermatologist today. I hadn't even known that they existed! And yes, it's as expensive as it sounds.
4I never even really thought about this before. I also only go to the doctor when I am sick, which fortunately is rare. The dog goes way more often!
5Last month I spent over 300 clams to have a vet radiologist perform an ultra sound on my Persian boy to confirm a diagnosis of feline PKD. That hurt the pocketbook! But he's worth it! And of course, he sees his vet more than I see my own doctor!
6I hardly ever go to the Dr. If my kitties need it I'll take them in no matter what the cost.
