The holiday gift giving season may be near over, but your favorite feline still deserves some treats! If you happen to have a frisky, instinctive cat — or know someone that does — you can never go wrong with toys that spark playful fun and a little exercise.
I love the Fling-ama-String, a $25 battery-operated cat toy that aims to improve "paw eye coordination" and keep your cat on the move. It's essentially a long plastic tube with a string that moves up and down to tease your kitty. It hangs on a door knob, counter top or chair and will entertain your cat even when you're not around. My cats are incredibly spoiled and if I'm not playing with them, they get bored. This is similar to the Panic Mouse 360, which my finicky kitties grew tired of in a day. Anything that they can sense is repetitive and fake, they don't want anything to do with. They play fetch with me, and LOVE anything on a wand. I LOVED the video, though - all those cute kitters and their paws!
With that said, I'm buying one anyway. I just can't help myself.
