I am still stunned by lavish collar options like the one Ritchie the bulldog wore at Harrods' 'Pet-à-Porter' fashion show and the most expensive ($1.8 million) 'Amour Amour' collar seen above. I like to spoil my pup but, until I have 1,600 diamonds, poor North will have to settle for leather harnesses. Be it a harness or a collar that your pet prefers, what's the most you would drop on your pets for one of the two?

Calida
Torrini
Lanvin
Our 3 huge dogs live outside in the backyard. It's too much of a waste of money to buy anything expensive for them considering they're outside and the current collars they have are all dirty and torn up from all their rough playing and we have to buy new ones about every 3 months!
1i have a larger dog
2so i would splurge up to $30 for a mack daddy strong one for him
Maximus is my baby -- if I found a NICE collar that I thought would be perfect for daily use, I'd spend up to $45-60 on it. Of course, he'd have to take it off when we went to the dog run!
3$16-$30 and not more then that. I got a collar for my kitty and it was liek $25 and she doens't even wear it.
4Then again, I guess for my Rottie the studded leather collar was like $45 so I would spend that...
I'd say I'd never go above $100.
5It makes the dog look like an old sad aristocrat who is trying too hard.
6I said $16-$30. I love my dogs, but I think that is a ridiculous waste of money... and tacky. It's like saying, "oooh I am so rich and fabulous, even my dog can have better jewelry than you."
7i would spend over a hundred..there's a huge difference between a couple of hundred dollars and 1.8 million:)
8furrybabyfashions.com - i love it, reasonably priced and QUALITY hand made items
9I have two Miniature Pinschers and a Pitbull/Shar Pei mix. I would spend 30 bucks tops on a collar or harness for each.
This little boutique downtown has this rubberized harness that I want for my MinPin, he is only 4 pounds, so he needs something that absorbs any kind of tugging.
10I spent just over $30 on one of my dog's collars, and I had to really talk myself into it. Usually I try to keep it under $30.
111.8 million dollars?? If your dog runs away that totally sucks for you!
12It depends on what it was. Money is no object when it comes to making my cats happy and comfortable, but if it was just to be cute, probably no more than $60. If it was the best harness EVER, I'd spend as much as I could afford.
13I think that one looks horrible and it´s soo damn expensive. I would spend up to 30$ I think if it looked good
14You're saying people actually spend more than TEN dollars on a collar???!!!
15thats just rediculous
16Well, this is silly. I picked the first option. I love my pet and want the best for him, but he doesn't care what kind of collar he has. It just doesn't matter.
17Tulip has a diamond collar too, pink nylon with plastic diamonds from petsmart for $8. Nothing but the best!
18Wow..that is WAY TOO expensive for a dog collar, even though it is nice. Like what Valentina said, if your dog ran away that would suck! I guess if you just had the money for it laying around...but I definitley couldn't buy it if I wanted to.
19Right now, George the cat has a $24 hand woven collar. It's got little fishies and mousies on it. I don't normally spend that much on his collars, but it was cute and I really liked the lady that was making them, so I went for it. I sort of view it as temporary art of a sort. It makes me smile to see him wearing it!
20I don't care for these. Porsche is a mush head anyway, so she's probably just wreck it.
21My 2 dogs are a purebred Boston Terrier and a Boston Terrier/Full Size Chihuahua Mix and I'll spend up to $60.00 each if it fits well, and it does not bother them. They are my babies! I have 1 daughter and cant have anymore children, I was lucky to have had her, so my 2 dogs are like the other kids I could never have. I love them so much, so what can I say! Like my daughter, they are spoiled sweet/rotten!
