and you can store extra food in the freezer to keep it fresh - my little chihuahua takes almost a year to go through a bag of her food!

6Just a reminder that I learned from a local pet store. If you choose to store your dogs food in a plastic container, keep the food in the original bag and then put it in the container. If you add it directly into the container, eventually the plastic will take on a stale taste of the food and then tranfer that stale taste onto your new food. Your pet will probably turn it's nose up to it!
