Since I polled PetSugar readers about their kitties responses to the tub last Saturday, several of you have asked (or shared) about your dogs, too! So, on that note, even though we know of the dangers in the bathroom for pets, how does pooch feel about the tub? Is your pup excited for bath time, either peeking in, entertaining herself, or getting one of her own?

They like to come visit me when I'm in the shower! Sully will just some in & lick the shower door (wierdo) & leave, but Bodhi sit on the bathmat & wait for me.
It isn't too hard to give her a bath cause she only weighs 20 lbs, but giant Sully? Thats a whole different story. And we can't only bathe Bodhi cause she'll get super dirty again!
1So far, Brando has not been a fan of bathtime. He's not allowed in the bathroom normally, but when we bring him in to bathe him, he just sits there under the water and gives us his sad face. You can tell he wants nothing more than to be out of there- it's so sad!
2My dog won't come within 10 feet of the bathroom if she hears water running! If I'm in the shower or the kids are in the bath, she won't come check on us until the water is turned off. She hates baths!
3My Pucci loves a shower, he takes one with me every morning! He hates to be dirty
4One of mine LOVES baths, and the other tolerates them because he loves being dried off when he's done. Both will get into the tub without a fight. Actually, let me rephrase. We have to fight with the little one just to keep him out.
5She used to love taking baths, now she doesn't like them anymore. When she was a puppy we would find her sitting in the bath tub all by herself.
6Holly hates being washed. She doesn't fight it though thankfully. I think she only tolerates it because she loves being dried off with a big fluffy towel.
7Princess and Precious do not really like to be bathed. They don't really fight but they shake really bad. They look like drowned rats when they're wet. I feel so sorry for them!
8Tulip loves her bathtime! She's a good girl in the tub but will hop out and shake as soon as the water is gone! We both have to dry off after most off Tulip's baths. *^_^*
9Zero starts like hyperventilating. It's horrible. He shakes really really bad, and either forgets to breathe or breathes so much that I think he will pass out. It's really horrible to watch, and we've tried to desensitize him, but it only works for about a week. He gets a bath once ever like 2-3 months.
10Has anybody ever been to a dogwash? I'm serious... I used to live where there was one connected to the carwash. It had a ramp the dog could climb in, and was a huge tub that you attached his collar to. You could wash your dog and they would clean up the mess. And there were heated floors... I miss it, it was so much easier to give Zero a bath there! I didn't have to worry about my tub getting all scratched up. If anyone is interested, here's the website: http://www.rodsndogs.com/dogwash.html
Lucy camps out on the bath mat every morning, if she thinks I'm taking too long she'll pull back the shower curtain and poke her head in.
11Typically she is not a big fan of bath time, she still feels it is necessary to be present for her brother's nightly bath but she sits as far away from the tub as she can get while remaining in the bathroom.
Karma loves to bring her toys and drop them in the water while I'm taking a bath. Just me not my husband or daughter. It's so funny.
"Mommy, play with me?" *splash*
