Happy Teddy Bear Day! In celebration of this fabulous holiday, I'm gonna flash back to my favorite teddy ever, A.G. Bear. As a kid, I wished that animals could talk, and this stuffed bear made it possible. Way ahead of the times, he had a voice box – if you talked, he would make sounds back. He could even respond to other A.G. Bears! The problem was, I didn’t know anyone else who owned one and now, many years later, I still can’t find someone who remembers this stuffed animal.
Because today also happens to be my birthday (and I'm feeling nostalgic about my 7th, to be exact), I'm wondering if any of you recall this special toy? I swear I’m not making him up!

Happy Birthday PetSugar, I'm sure North will be on his best behavior for you today.
7My AG Bear was gray with a red shirt. I loved him.
He didn't "talk" like Teddy
Ruxpin though. He talked like a bear.
8I had an AG Bear and he made noise but didn't "talk". That was Teddy Ruxpin

10I had Teddy Ruxpin! You could also buy Teddy's friend, which attached to him but I can't remember what type of animal it was!!! I think I still have mine packed away somewhere!!!

I had a Teddy Ruxpin, he is at my mom's house! I think I had a grey AG bear too. He had a removable voice box right? Did he growl?

15Yes, I didn't mean human words!
16Never heard of it!
17Dude YESSS Teddy Ruxpin RULESS!!!! Living in the land of Grundo!
18And hotpink, Teddys best friend was a catterpillar named grubby I think. You plugged them in together and they both talked. ALSO you could buy the Fobs, which were little bird things that were pretty colors because they lived (or drank the water?) in a colorful waterfall. Ok I know I sound like a BIG nerd, but I seriously LOVED teddy ruxpin. I think I have a tape of the soundtrack here somewhere!!!
My brother and I both had AG Bears and the bears would talk to each other, sometimes late, late at night.
My AG Bear would always "talk" crankily at my grandfather. It was the funniest thing ever.
Thanks so much for the memories.
19My mom still has mine back with all my old collectibles and baby things...now how many people remember the old Cricket & Corky talking dolls?!
20I got a second-hand Teddy Ruxpin for my 7th birthday. His tape player was broken, so I played the tapes on another player and moved his mouth with my fingers.
21Teddy!!!
22I rememebr him!!!
