C'mere! Many pets are called – and respond to – a variety of names. From their full given names to official, registered ones, pets often have varied monikers. Sometimes animals get new names over time or based on certain behaviors and other times certain friends and family members bestow special nicknames on a pet.
I call my pup North most of the time, but my mom calls him Baby Tink (short for Stinky), my dad calls him Lil'boy, and friends call him Norte or Norfies. In fact, sometimes I even call him Bucket... and I haven't a clue why!

5Harley is "Puppy Power" because when she was a wee one she had tons of energy and would tear around the house excitedly when visitors came over; "Harley Bergstram International Doggy Port"... I don't know where that comes from, thats what Shawn calls her when he's feeling silly; "Rockets" for the same reason as Puppy Power" and "Pup Monster" when she's been naughty. Trigger is "Twiggo", or "Handsome".
6Jack (his name), Jacky, Jack Face, Poop Head (this is a hand-me-down nickname from my mom's dog, but I have no idea where it came from), Mr.Snuffleupagus,and Buddy.
7P-NUT (his name), butt nut, nutter butter, pee pie, pete, petey, bubby, goofy, beebee, goose, monkey, stinky butt (my boyfriend's name for him)

15I call my Sydney bunny a lot because when she runs it looks like a bunny hopping, with the ears flopping along. It is the cutest thing ever!!!

22My old dog growing up had a revolving door of nicknames from me...they just evolved throughout her 13 years. Her name was TJ, but I called her everything from "Poop Machine" to "Toe Jam" and when she died I mostly called her "Teebs."
My new pup Brando is still pretty young (4 1/2 months) to have too many nicknames but I currently call him Puppers, Babykins, and my favorite, Mr. Mumbles (which I got from the real Brando's nicknames). His full name is Cool Hand Brando, so sometimes we call him Cool Hand.
23i love this! when people ask me my dog's name i have to stop and think because i call her so many names. Rory is her name, she loves to respond to Girlie, also sometimes, Bubba, princess, stinky etc.

26bella, my schnorkie, answers to bella, bo-bo, slo-mo, mo-mo, bo-bo baggins (like bilbo baggins... don't ask, i don't know), and even moses.... there's no reason i can think of as to why we even started calling her weird names, but she answers to everyone of them.

We kind of make them up on the fly & some of them stick around. I'm sure I fogot half of them!

29Actually name McGuffy- which I never call her unless she is bad. Mostly called Guffy. Often called Miss Guff, Guff-Guff, Goofball, Goofer, Stinks, Fluffer, Little Black Dog, LBD and my personal favorite- G-Dog. Poor thing answers to anything you call her way at this point...

31My puppy's name is Sophie, but we also call her Soph, little-Sophie-pee-pants, little-Sophie-no-pants, BRAT, Sophie-pie, Puff, Puffy, Fluff and Fluffy...that poor dog, she probably has SUCH an identity crisis!
32Well I named my puppy Buttercup when I first got her. But then as she got older she looks more like a Sophie. So she answers to Buttercup and Princess Sophie.

37my cat scout (real name is jean louise finch after to the kill a mockingbird character) has quite a few...some seriously dont even make sense... scout-scout, boo, booger, schmoopie, bug (she had fleas once), bugga boo, lil boo, buddy.

My pup's name is Smokey and I will call him that most of the time but then it is whatever variation of his name comes out of my mouth: Smokestack, Smokey bones, Smokester. And for some reason, I called him Puff n' Stuff once and it stuck so that is also used on occasion.
40My whole family has nicknames for Tulip. I call her koala bear, my mom and sis call her Tulie and my dad calls her the ewok. He thinks she looks like the grey one from Star Wars!
