1I have to wonder if a hamster is really enjoying a ball, or just constantly trying to find the way out.

3Mandy - I ALWAYS wondered that when we had our little dwarf hamster in hers!
I didn't like this particular ball though; the lid always popped off. We wound up buying a CritterTrail Z, which had a ventilated, glow-in-the-dark exercise ball that detached from the cage.
4We have a little ball, a big ball, and a hamster car. Boomer (our hamster) seems to really enjoy them.
5I had a hamster that died a couple of months ago (RIP-Kasey)and I bought him this ball. He really enjoyed it. It was pretty entertaining to watch him run into things while he was in it. It's really cute. It's also good exercise for the hamster.
6I wouldn't recommend it for a guinea pig...
7These balls can be a ton of fun for hamsters and gerbils, but be sure to supervise carefully. We had a hamster get his ball stuck under the edge of a dresser over a heating vent. He smothered to death. Just be aware of where your pet is!
