Nope, I didn't tack on some extra zeros — one woman paid $32 grand to fly her beloved Boxer (not shown here) in the cabin with her, business class no less. We know that air fees can add up, but an Israeli woman identified as Rivkah paid for the whole compartment to carry "Orchuk," his vet, and herself from Paris to Tel Aviv on Airline El Al. While she wouldn't discuss the price, Rivkah said:
He is my child, not a dog. And he deserves the best.
Do you think this news is plain nuts or, if you had the cash and the pull, would you make it happen, too?

Well, we all make choices, and if someone wants to spend more than the average American's yearly income on flying her dog business class, that's her call. The rest of us will just be sad she didn't use the money for a better purpose.
1why did she have to buy the whole cabin?
2I am not gonna lie, if I had the money and I was going on a long flight I would do the same thing for my babies. But I would rather like to see more pet friendly options in airplane lines.
If I had that kind of money and really needed to get my dog somewhere, I would pay for a private flight instead of renting out the cabin of a commercial flight. That said, I would never put my dog in the luggage compartment bc of the horror stories I've read, so I can at least relate to that.
3Lady, your kid is ugly.
4It's her money. If she can afford it, then more power to her. I hope her vet enjoyed the flight. That type of fare is out of reach for a lot of vets.
5All I can think of is what local shelters would be able to do with that kind of a donation...
6Her $$ & Her decision!! If thats what it took to get her dog to the vet so he could get better than I see nothing wrong with it! Might have been cheaper though to bring the Vet to the dog though!!
7she could have drive and saved a ton of money! i'd never fly my dogs. and, if i had loads of money maybe i'd be CRAZY enough to pay an outrageous price ... who knows. nothing is too good for my critters. but, since i'm not super rich - they ride in the car with me.
