I learned quite a bit at the Ugliest Dog Contest [1] — like "beauty is in the eye of the beholder," and that one of the competitors admittedly hops in the shower with her semi-hairless dog. Although first wondering how and why that worked, I visualized trying to bathe a large pooch and imagined it'd be easier to hop into a tub or shower with the dog for a better grip, right?
