These pups always look so silky with long hair and fluffy, plumed tails — I want to pet them through the computer screen! Do you know anything about this breed with one of the longest names around? Test your knowledge when you start the quiz.

I should have done better than 5/7! I grew up with Cavaliers and my mom still has two. They are such sweet little dogs!
13/7, this is slightly embarrassing, especially considering I had a tricolor back in the day!
2All I know (it would seem) is that this is the cutest, cuddliest, most affectionate little breed ever. My puppy attracted huge crowds of doting passers-by every time we went to the park - he was that adorable. He passed many years ago and I still miss him.
Rouge Noir - I think 1/7 is very embarrassing; which was my score.
35/7. The last question doesn't make sense -- the House of Tudor preceded the House of Stuart. (Or is the implication that Pugs became popular again?)
4Ok at least I did much better on this test 6/7!!!!!
5Yes, the breed became popular again: "When the house of Stuart fell, it became a political liability to be associated with the dogs of King Charles (the Tudors favored the Pug), and the Cavalier breed became extremely rare."
63/7...I think if I get another dog I may consider a King Cavalier (among a couple of other choices) they do seem like the cuddliest, sweetest little things.
