Just spotted this news and needed to pass it along ASAP. If your feline enjoys Nutro food, check to make sure it hasn't been recalled today. The latest, voluntary recall affects kitty kibble with "Best If Used By" dates between May 12, 2010, and August 22, 2010, distributed to retail customers in all 50 states.

Interesting... I recently switched my dog's food and initially bought a bag of Nutro food. A few days later, I read about how they were allegedly being investigated by the FDA. The company's own website refuted that and called the Consumer Affairs website totally bogus. I decided it wasn't worth the hassle to sort out what was true and what wasn't and switched to California Natural instead. (I know, too much switching. But we're sticking now).
I realize this post is about their cat food, but it still makes a girl go "hmmm....".
1i know a lady that runs a rescue and she doesn't use Nutro anymore. She said she used to but recently they must've changed their formula or something bc it gives some of the dogs runs.
2I still to Wellness. It hasn't had any problems and my dogs like it!
