Made of reclaimed cotton fibers, the path from each sweater's eco-tastic origin to the final product is fascinating. Reknitz ($38) separates pre-consumer textile table remnants into raw fibers that are then blended with 24 percent new acrylic fibers and spun into yarn. That's cool but my favorite part is that the color options don't come from dyes but instead from the (skilled) mixing of textile cuttings to create the lovely hues from what's available. Talk about waste not, want not, this earth-friendly must do comes in five sizes for the lil pampered pups ready to help save the planet.
