I filled out our office March Madness bracket and I'll clue you into my secret – since my alma mater performed miserably, I went for the animal mascots! Now I'm not sure how things will turn out for me in the end, but it was fun doing my research on the sporty creatures.
Since some teams remained the same from last year, and others were totally new, take my quiz to see how you do in 2009!
1 of 7Question 1

Kanebo
Ruco Line
Donna Karan
57% percent. I sure hope my bracket performance is better
1Okay, that was weird. I was taking this quiz, and just as I got to the Tiger question, the announcer on CBS commented that two of the teams that won earlier were "Tigers" and that maybe that meant that the Clemson Tigers would win their game as well. It's like he was sneaking me hints!!!
2i think the boston terrier should represent some team!
3... Duke saber tooth tigers? Come on now petsugar, you guys can do better than that
4I enter my cat Huckleberry in a pool every year. His strategy is to have cat teams always win. If there are two cat teams playing, the kill factor will determine the winner (i.e., whichever cat is more deadlier). If no cat teams are playing, then any animal mascot always beats a human or inanimate mascot. If two non-cat animal mascots are playing (i.e. husky versus jayhawk), again the kill factor decides. Huckleberry has won several pools and always beats me and my husband!
5omg kmaile. i do the same thing (kind of)!!! every year i do a bracket based on mascot cuteness, and one just like yours based on kill factor (without the cat winners) i don't always do well, especially on the cuteness bracket, but it makes march madness even more addicting for me!
6O! It was so weird to see one of the answers be Radford University, (being so close to Virginia Tech we're always kind of left out!) I mean, the only reason I knew that was because I'm a Highlander... though Jack the Boston Terrier would be much cuter!
