Why get dogs as a gift for your kids if all you're going to do is b!tch and moan about them? Kate is unbelievable, but I guess that's why I like the show.

I have 1 puppy and I'm exhausted! I couldn't imagine 2 puppies and 8 young kids! Good for them but I'd die, lol.

I always say if you have the room and you're already taking care of one (feeding, taking them out, cleaning up after them) then what's one more! When I actually have the room someday I hope to always have 2 or 3 puppies at the same time, esp. so they can play with one another--I think its great for dogs to have friends!

Yeah, she complains.. but so what.. she's honest. And she is really organized (which some people think is too stringent, but I'd like to see a household with 8 kids under 7 without organization.. that would be a mess) She always seems to make time for her kids and they all know what is expected of them... (Which i don't think will be true for that bat$^!t crazy chick in CA with her clown car uterus) YAAAAAAAAAAY PUPPIES!!!

Rumor on the internet has it that the pups are already gone, due to an "allergy". For the pup's sakes, I hope so.

For someone as organized as Kate I would have thought she'd research the breed and even read up on puppy care and training. When one of the puppies tried to lick her she was having none of it;isn't that how puppies show affection?!! I agree it's one more thing for her to complain about. I bet those puppies are outside in a pen within a week. Hopefully one of the puppies will love Maddie alot. After Maddie's 2nd tantrum I turned the station. I remember when Kate was a sweetheart,what happened;fame perhaps?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why add 2 puppies to a chaotic life style like that? GSD'd require training, they may be cute pups but they do grow up to be big dogs that are powerful. I don't think the family is equipped to handle the dogs physically or mentally.
I didn't like the fact they did not keep Nala confined when she ate the stuffed horse. It is common sense to do this because of stitches and internal injuries. Shew god bless them pups, cause they need better homes with people that can actually handle them when they grow up. I see a lot of things they are doing wrong right from the start with the kids and pups. They allow the pups to pup on the kids for one, that is a huge no no for obvious reasons!

How come in the beginning the post says "I can barely imagine having two dogs..." Two dogs is not that many. I have 6 rescues and they are wonderful!

Discovery.Com needs to be held accountable for the actions of this family. They just displayed the callous behavior as to why there are so many shelters in the United States, filled with unwanted animals. Any advertiser on TLC should cringe if they are affiliated with this program, that advocates disposal of dogs.
