The Hotel For Dogs isn't a swank, professionally run facility, but instead one started by two driven children (Emma Roberts and Jake T. Austin) who let their imaginations run wild when finding an abandoned hotel on a quest for a safe home for their pooch, Friday. I got a sneak peek at this film – opening Jan. 16 – and must say: I. Loved. It.
First off, you've gotta go in with an open mind (obviously, this couldn't really happen), but I can't remember a film with more insanely cute dogs doing insanely cute things (kissing, pouting, posing, etc.). This is definitely the one time to round up any children in your life and use them as your excuse . . . if you need one. Most of the dogs were discovered (read: rescued), then trained to be actors in a noisy crash course – check out a behind-the-scenes clip below.

Judging from the trailers, it looks like it was made for 10-year-old girls, so even though I'm sure there are some cute moments, I'll pass.
1It's in my Netflix queue.
2i will not go see it but i will rent it. =)
3I'll wait for the DVD
4it looks adorable!
5No. Going to see that movie would be the same for me as flushing $10 down the toilet.
Neither is going to happen.
6totally want to see it, but kinda cash strapped these days...so going to have to wait for the DVD release and save a few bucks.
7Since it costs so much to see movies now a days, and there are other movies I'm sure I would rather see, I'll pass on this one.
8It seems like a kids's movies. If I had a kid, I would absolutely!
9Yeah I agree with the above posts. It is a kid's movie so I'll pass
10Ratatouille was the only kid's movie I liked since I was a kid.
