Every Day With Rachael Ray (December/January 2009)
Ingredients
2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped (for people portions only)
Half of a 10-ounce box frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
1 large egg
1 pinch ground nutmeg
1 to 2 slices wheat bread, toasted and cut into triangles
Salt and pepper (for people portions only)
Directions
In a medium nonstick skillet, heat the EVOO over medium heat. For people portions, add the garlic and cook until fragrant, 30 seconds. Add the spinach and cook until heated through. Add the egg and stir to scramble, 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and stir in the nutmeg. Top the toast with the spinach-egg mixture. Season people portions with salt and pepper.

Why no stories on Rachel Ray's Dog Killer Brand Dog Food?
The moron put ONIONS in her food for dogs. Onions and items in the onion family cause dogs (and cats) red blood cells to spontaneous burst and destroys their bodies ability to rapidly replace the destroyed blood cells. So your poor pet can eat her food and ingest a small amount of the onion it contains and begin to bleed out with little or no provocation. And Vets and other animal care groups are calling for her to immediately pull her products from stores and to learn a thing or two about dogs physiology before she decides to make and market killer food to people's pet.
Rachel's response: My dog food is for people to eat, not for dogs. I didn't know onions were toxic to dogs.

1Only a recipe in a magazine for dogs contained onions. Her branded dog food line doesn't have garlic or onions. The company that manufactures the dog food also a pretty well-known company, so I'm pretty sure they know what they're doing (the company, not Rachel).
And also, I think what she's doing is a good thing. She's helping animals, isn't that what matters? Ignorance doesn't make one a bad person.
