I would have guessed that Duchess Marie was a pretty young thing, with that sparkle in her eye and attentive stance. But Duchess has seen 12 birthdays already! I couldn't believe it — is it her diet, or all the exercise she gets? Whatever it is, when I'm the equivalent to her age in people years (84), I hope I'm looking just as peppy.

1Very adorable.
2It's great that she's reached 12 already, my Yorkie died in October and I still miss her so much. She had Kidney disease which in the end caused her other organs to fail she was only 8 1/2 and should have only been half way through her life so it goes to show you should treasure any time you have with your pets.
