my dogs eat tipple (sp?) at my parents house all the time. They are basically small rocks that work like mulch. Never seems to harm them though...I just wish I knew what the appeal was.

Ugh, my dog threw up a rock the other day. I have absolutely no idea when she ate it, so it was quite a surprise.
