ha, ha. i have a chihuahua, and only got three questions right. my hubby says that there are many more descriptors not on the choice list: loud, obnoxious, yippy, snore-y, burp-ey, snarf-ey, aggressive... Smiling

I have a whole herd of them! (ok.....if 3 equals herd) I love my little foot warmers and they love me. Everyone else they want to eat, but they love me and that's enough.

My dog is a chi and I love her dearly, but they aren't for everyone. Apparently the movie is causing a lot of families to think about getting Chis and the Chicago Tribune posted an article warning people that they are adorable, but not perfect pets. http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/opinion/chi-1010edit2oct10,0,6225875....

Personally, I think the article is pretty spot on. Especially, when the author says Chihuahuas are "shamless bed hogs."

omg what a beautiful picture. My chihuahua passed away two years ago. I have never in my life cried so much in my life.. It was a horrible feeling. -=[[ Just thinking about him makes my eyes teary.

Good that they're getting the word out Cortney...it would be sad for the same thing that happened with Dalmatians (overbreeding, inbreeding) happen to this breed.

And it's amazing the different types of mixed breeds that breeders (or people who's dog ended up pregnant) try to pass off as a purebred Chihuahua. I've never seen such variety in any other type of dog.

BTW...I agree with Cortney...they are not for everyone. My chi, Chuy, is super sweet but he does sometimes get fed up with my children so I make sure to really supervise their time together. Chihuahuas are fragile, not to mention quirky.

quiz was fun, but the AKC DOES have "sassy" in its description (per the link posted): "These sassy little dogs are well known as "purse dogs" like the famous Bruiser in the movie Legally Blonde starring Reese Witherspoon."
