From a spot on the couch to a particular chair, do your furry friends lay claim to a certain place in the house? I have a friend whose kitty has "her chair" and she will literally stalk and sulk around it if company tries to sit there. I definitely know this can be an issue in multiple, non-BFF households when boundaries and territories are clearly divided . . . sound familiar?

My dog doesn't mind if we sit in her favorite spots (her bed, MY bed). The only thing she doesn't like to share is her bone.
1none of my dogs are like that with places...with ME on the other hand, one of em is always by my side wherever i go, and follows me everywhere.
im depressed she's leaving us today

Totally, my dog has one. But is fine with us sitting there if, unless she wants to. (:
3Nah, if you sit someplace my cats like, they'll just take that as permission to jump up into your lap. Although they are pretty stubborn about giving up their place if they got there first and you want to sit there.
4We have two dogs in the house and each one has her 'spot'. It is pretty cute... they do give them up for company however... LOL
5Sadie is not in the least territorial, and she will share anything. We recently had a house guest who brought along her dog. Lexi would growl and snap at Sadie over food, toys and the dog bed. (Sadie's food, toys, and dog bed!) Sadie just came over and sat by me. She shares her water bowl at the park with dozens of dogs. She was a shelter dog, and I guess she never got the concept of anything belonging to her alone.
6Oops Jolie, not Lexi...wrong doggie friend!
7My dog is very territorial when he's making his mark outside. There was this one time I was about to sit down and he took my seat! We told him no! and layed him on the floor. Even since then he hasn't done that.
8B-Bop gets territorial when his friend Qi comes over. But it's more like little kids, HEY that's MINE! If she gets out a toy, he runs and grabs it. If she manages to lay in his bed (which is 2 sizes too small for her) he kind of pushes her over. It's funny. But at the end of the day they fall asleep all snuggled up, BFF's. too cute
9My two dogs can be a bit territorial with each other, but not so much with people. My little dog often goes and lays on my big dog's bed, which makes him upset. Usually, he will come over to me "asking" me to go get her off, but sometimes he will give in and try to squeeze himself into her tiny bed. It's pretty funny. Here's a photo:

10When my fiance would use her "chair" to play video games, she would pace around him and generally act annoyed. Eventually, she would settle on the couch. I live in an apartment complex and she barks when she hears people shuffling outside in the hall, but otherwise she's pretty relaxed.
11bubba is so territorial. Vivi however could care less
12My dog sleeps in her Juicy Couture dog house during the day, but at night she adjusts to where we sit. She tends to like to sit under the table/bed so she never gets in anyone's way....unless it's a guy! She's a total flirt and will constantly try to get their attention. Lol. I love my dog.
