North views the doctor's office as a big adventure! Other dogs in the waiting room . . . and at least a couple new people to kiss! I remember the biggest problem on our first visit was getting him to stand still enough on the scale! Is my pooch alone in his vet love, or do your pets enjoy their doc QT, too?

Actually, Eegor doesn't mind going to the vet at all. He loves seeing other dogs and people, even if he does get poked in the butt!
1Kitten HATES the vet, usually because it invloves a car ride.
But Rosie, LOVES the vet! She wags her tail and gives him kisses...crazy gurl!
2Axle LOVES the vet! To him, anywhere with other dogs is a good time. Although he's not a huge fan of the vet himself, he does handle shots and the thermometre really well.
Newton on the other hand hates EVERYTHING about the vets.
3We live in a small town, so Parker sees our vet, Dr. Ben, all the time. When he sees him outside the clinic, it always takes a few minutes to warm up... but the regular non-business interaction helps him stay calm when he does have to get a checkup!
4Our cats and dog all hate the vet. The cats get so traumatized at being squished in a carrier once a year and thrown in the car that they are freaked by the time they get there! The dog is fine in the car but gets nervous as soon as he gets inside. They are all used to each other but don't do well around other animals. They aren't really "used to" the vet because they are all generally healthy and only go once a year.
5Stella drags me up the steps to the vet! She loves to see all her people.
6My dog LOVES going anywhere, and she is OK with being picked and prodded. She's not crazy about shots, but hey neither am I. Our vet happens to be a family friend so they see each other outside of the vet's office, so that helps too.
7My dog doesn't fight with me about going into the vet, but he shakes uncontrollably in the waiting room whenever we have to go. I don't blame him! Doctors' offices are scary for me too! But he does like our vets once he gets into the exam room.
8Kassie loves the going to the vet because there are tons of new people for her plus she only has to go for shots which she does not really feel. Although she does not like being put in those tiny exam rooms. She always stands at the door wanting out.
Jeffrey is the opposite mostly because he is shy and the last couple of times that he had to go to the vet was because he was really sick.
They both hate the groomers though. They are well behaved for the groomers but as soon as they walk in they are always jumping all over me because they want out. I always leave the groomers covered in new scratches and bruises from them
9My dogs have always loved the vet. They're always desperate to be taken in back by the techs for blood work or to have their nails clipped -- I'm pretty sure the techs give them treats!
10Its not so much with him that he like the doctor but the fact that he gets someone else to go crazy over how well behaved he can be..
11Bailey gets very scared, but Jager loves it...the staff loves them both and J-Bomb always knows that he is going to get lots of rubs and treats
12Petey gets quite upset when we head to the vet. He starts off with a low whimper and then gets progressively louder and louder. It sounds like a baby wailing. And this is all before we've even checked in with the receptionist. Then he proceeds to limp and then fall to the ground with his eyes closed. Petey is a 3lb chihuahua doing all of this.
13My dogs don't like going to the vet. They generally behave well for her, but they just act nervous immediately once we get there. I think they can smell it when we arrive. We had to take one of our dogs to the vet when we were on vacation this summer. He stepped into the office, took a whiff of the air, and started quietly whimpering. Poor baby!
14Perfect and Brooklyn never go
15Noodles doesn't like going anywhere that involves tile or vinyl flooring. She will walk in the door but she freezes on the entry rug.
16Logan loves anywhere with people and other animals, so he's all about the visiting the vet! Plus, he gets treats from the staff, so it's all good as far as he's concerned! =)
17Anything that involves getting attention he loves. He doesn't even flinch when they take his temperature, either.
18Storm - hate him
19Madison - loves him
My boy dog is the BEST for the vet...he's been called a model patient.
20He will be crazy and bouncy in the waiting room. we get into the exam room, the doctor walks in? he is perfect. we went in once because he had a bad tummy rash, and the doctor came in and he rolled over, showed his belly and didn't move at all unless the doctor prompted him too.
he's always great for shots, since he was a pup (my little girl cries and squirms), also once when they were drawing blood from his neck, and came up empty like 4 times before finally striking the vein, he just stood there, his nose pointed up, didn't squirm as the re-tried, or when they shaved some fur....it's just so surprising because he's usually so adhd
yea &
my dog cuz he has a dog of the same breed.
21the vet adores
I literally have to trick my cat into going to the vet. The funny thing is that if you say the "V" word, he runs and hides under the bed where no one could get him.
22Viva (puppy) loves attention. So she loves going to the vet, or anywhere. Merlot (kitty) on the other hates any kind of outting. We took her to get groomed once and the vet said she turned the place upside down and they had to catch her with one of those giant nets.
23Both Bella & Harlow don't mind the vet at all.
24Our doc is great with them, so they just adore him.
Polka totally adores her doc!!!!

25Everytime we go there, she's so excited and cries behind his office's door!
Then it's the big "kiss and party time"!
My puupy has never been to the vet I am going to take her saturday!!
