It's so hard to describe our furry friends with a single word, even if there are some we subconsciously associate with dogs or cats [1]. I spent a good hour trying to come up with one to describe my pet – my friends' and family's suggestions ranged from adorable (my mom) to hyper (my neighbor), and I finally settled on "spirited." Sounds nice but still gets at my pup's lively essence. What's yours?
