the other night we were watching "Greatest American Dog" and they were squeeking lots of squeeky toys
THAT definitely had his attention!

Sometimes Eegor completely ignores the TV, but other times he'll be so enamored by what's on screen you can't even coax his eyes away with a treat! Any time there are weird noises coming from the TV or lots of "flashing" you'll find his cute little face staring.

Rosie watchs soemtimes, like if a barking dog graps her attention she watchs tv for a few minutes. Kitten, I dunno...she's a werido!

my parents dogs would watch tv sometimes or at least interact with the noises from the tv (we hated when doorbells went off, it would all set the dogs off). my dog doesn't watch tv or pay attention to the noises. not sure why...

Esther loves TV, but is upset by dogs barking, and especially disturbed by animated talking animals. We can't watch Family Guy at bedtime anymore.

Chewie shows no interest in the TV, but Callie loves to sit and watch, or try to touch whatever is shown on the screen.

Leo will bark like crazy anytime a doorbell rings on tv. It's really funny.

Ruby will sometimes look at the TV with a very confused expression and does the "baroo" head-tilt thing. My grandparents had the smartest dog ever and she would run at the TV and bark and growl whenever there was an animal on TV. Sometimes she would see other dogs and would bring her ball in front of the set and drop it like she thought the dogs on TV would play with her. Ok, now that I think about it, maybe she wasn't as smart as I always thought

My cat loves Planet Earth on the Discovery channel. He'll just stare at it for minutes!

They respond more to sound than anything, but sometimes they watch it too. I read an article that dogs can see television in HD WAY better than they can see normal tv. Interesting...

Once my kitten pumpkin was watching star trek but he hasn't looked at the television since. But last night my other kitten spice was lying next to me while I watched family guy and there was a clip where Mayor West starts to hit the delivery guy with his cat launcher. The actual cat sounds made her sit up and look at the tv. i rewound it again to make sure it was the cat sounds and sure enough when she heard it she started going towards the television

b-bop always watches TV, he responds to everything. Dogs of course, but sometimes he jsut doesn't like a person and growls at them. What a weirdo.

We will usually have at least one of our cats with us when we're watching something, but they usually don't watch it themselves. There are exceptions, however.

Our youngest cat loves cartoons (some more than others), including the cut scenes when I'm playing a console RPG (scenes that have higher detail and are more like high production value cartoons than like video games because they're prerendered), but it seems to depend on the color scheme and style, more so than how much action is going on.

He also really seemed to get into a couple of the DNC speeches -- especially Michelle Obama's. He watched most of it with us.

our pug, gizmo, is such a couch potato. she gets so into watching tv & movies. however, she hates (& barks like crazy at) animals - especially horses, violence, and crying babies.

My Romey runs to the tv every morning when the theme song from "diff'rent strokes" comes on (it comes on while Im getting ready in the morning)...other than that he mostly ignores the tv.

Wyatt could care less about what's happening on the TV, especially if there are people in the room for him to play with!
