Awww, how cozy they look! Does this scene look familiar to you? If you share a bed with your pet, does the furry one have a fave snuggly spot? When I chatted with Bill from Greatest American Dog, he shared the sweet observation below:
I think the bond between Star and I was pretty tight when we got to California and I don't think you could make it any better. She slept in the bed with me all the time we were out there but when we got back home, Star had moved. She had always slept at the end of the bed, and now she moved up to right beside me on my side of the bed and that may be a little bit bigger bond.

My big dog sleeps right up against me. I basically use him as a pillow!
1Our pup LOVESSSSSSS sleeping between us! She is SO bad!
We move her so we can cuddle but she crawls right back up to the middle and plops down on top of us!
I think it's because she just gets cold because she is still a baby...
And kitten...she is a very different cat. She has NEVER slept in bed with us, but she comes up to get lovies before bed and sometimes @ 3 in the morning. I just made her a kitty bed beside me that she sleeps in.
2Newton will plop his butt down where ever he thinks appropriate. He prefers where the covers are the most bunched up. If the bed is made (which it often is), he'll take the blanket at the foot of the bed and make a nest out of it.
Axle sleeps right in the middle of the foot of the bed, which is great when you're a tall person in a short bed, with a dog who is huge.
3Polka sleeps on her couch but every night and every morning, she jumps on my bed to a share a special moment with me!
4And when she does, we look like the pic above!
My dog likes to sleep toward the foot of the bed. She likes to be between my legs, but I turn over a lot, so I try to get her to be beside me instead.
5My cat sleeps wherever he wants--foot of the bed, top of the bed, on the right, on the left, on my face, on my back, on my pillow with his claws in my head when he thinks it's time for me to get up.
6he gets way too hot to sleep on the bed with us, plus with our little queen bed he would take up too much space so he sleeps on the floor but he'll start out sleeping on the husband's side and when I wake up in the morning he's sleeping on my side (;
7Our dog prefers to be right against us, taking up half the bed. A small dog taking up half the bed and squishing 2 adults together onto the other half does not call for comfortable sleeping! So we've made her sleep at the foot (my side, since I'm shorter and tend to stick my legs over the side of the bed). We try to make her sleep in her own bed most of the time, but there are just days where she's such a big baby that we give in and let her sleep with us.
8our dog loves to be at the foot of the bed, as long as he gets an extra pillow! such a brat
9My two cats sleep on my bathrobe at the foot of the bed. Each one likes to snuggle against a leg, which is cute until I wake up and want to change positions. I usually choose to stay put rather than disturb the cats, which I guess shows who rules the roost!
10Mostly my Basset Daisy Mae sleeps at the foot of the bed, plus my cat boys too. But my other cat Shwizz sometimes loves to sleep between my hubby and I, while Tiger or Socks sleep on the bare spot of my nightstand.
11Okay somehow my comment got deleted oy! Anyway, I was trying to say that my dog Daisy Mae loves to sleep at the foot of the bed along with my three cats. Though my other cat Shwizz loves to occassionally sleep between my hubby and I.
12My cat sleeps all over. If there is only one person in the bed he'll sleep at the top on a pillow or at the bottom if their there. If there are too people then he sleeps at the bottom. He pretty much gets to sleep wherever he wants. On my brother's bed he sleeps at the bottom and when my brother goes to sleep, he takes the cat and puts him at the top and they both fall asleep on the pillow and under the blanket. It is really cute!
13Stella sleeps in a crate in my bedroom with the door open (before she controlled her chewing she slept in a crate in the kitchen, with me on my futon in the next room.)
14We still have a sleepy cuddle session every morning on my futon in the living room before we start the day.
Eegor sleeps in his crate at night, but on weekends we'll feed him and let him out, then he'll fall back asleep with us on the bed. He tends to gravitate to the spot between my husband and I and gets as close as he possibly can to our faces. He feel asleep with his head on my shoulder on Saturday morning, it was sooooo cute! He is a little lover!
151 kitty sleeps at the foot of the bed, the second kitty sleeps in the "curve" of my husbands legs and the third kitty sleeps right by my head/face while "biscuiting" my head and hair! LoL
16Jake sleeps on the bed with his head on the pillow and the covers up to his nose. He is seriously a person!
17If Wyatt sleeps on our bed, he sleeps at the foot of it.
18My dog took over the love seat and sleeps on that all the time.
19Bailey sleeps on the top of my pillow and Jager sleeps next to my husband on the side opposite me
20Samson sleeps in his crate next to my bed!
21because my aussie likes to sleep on top of me, the dogs are no longer allowed to sleep in the bedroom! when allowed - the aussie sleeps on top of me and my sheltie sleeps at my feet. kitty is allowed in the bedroom always and he sleeps with his head on the side of my pillow.
22one of my dogs sleeps right by my head on the pillow and the other one sleeps inside of the blanket next to me. they keep me warm~
23My dog sleeps right next to my head, my cat sleeps right next to my right hip. Sometimes in the middle of the night I roll over on both of them.
24Okay, not a dog, but my kitty Pepper sleeps tucked up in my right side.
25Rocky likes to cuddle right in my armpit. He's only five pounds but I'm a very light sleeper and don't move in my sleep, although I wouldn't trust letting him sleep in bed with anyone else because of his size. Sometimes he disappears way way under the covers to cuddle but usually he likes to sidle up right next to me. If I face the other way sometimes he'll jump right over me to get closer. I don't agree with all the talk of not letting the dog sleep in the bed due to dominance issues; if the owner's okay with it, I think it's very sweet.
26My cat sleeps at the foot of my bed. I suppose I'm not kicking him in my sleep because he does this every night.
27My cats sleep all over the bed but especially in spots strategically chosen so that we are forced to adopt sophisticated and complicated yoga postures in order to sleep in the same bed with them!
28My dog likes to sleep on the floor beside the bed...well, half under the bed.
29She will take over my spot when I'm not in the bed, though. Last night I got into bed to find she'd drooled on my pillow.
In the other room! I would never get a good night's sleep with my pets in my bed. It's hard enough with my husband there.
30Where's the "all over the bed" option? That's what Zena does!
31vudi doesn't even care how small the bed is. we're redoing our bedroom which leave me my guy in a less than twin euro bed and vudi in between out legs. i'm in pain every morning i can't wait till the damn room is done!
32foot.
33The bedroom is the only no-pet zone in the house, but Callie and Chewie both have their own 'bed'
34My pets sleep where ever they want to sleep. Sometimes at the head sometimes at the foot and sometimes on the floor on their own little beds. I even woke up in the morning a couple of times where I was stuck between the wall and my 2 dogs and couldn't move. They do love to snuggle up to me and that is a big compliment in my book.
