Remember the DogPause for those speedy eaters? Well, there's another version, the EatBetter, as well as this model especially for fluids. I'm especially interested because, although my pooch is quite the gobbler, he most often gets sick by throwing up some clear liquid when he drinks too much too fast.

The DrinkBetter ($25) slowing bowl encourages speedy pups to take their time sipping without slopping or soaking their entire faces. The design features a floating obstacle to control the water's flow; they can only access a small amount of water at a time making them wait – and work – for more. I definitely like the idea, and the aesthetic's not bad either – do your doggies need this?

This is a great idea...Bailey has the same problem and gets sick after drinking too much too quickly
1My roommate's dog definitely needs this.
2Sadie definitely needs this. I have put off buying one because it won't match her food bowl (and she doesn't need the feed better bowl. I have to fight to get her to eat!). I have been putting ice cubes in her water whenever she comes in from a walk or the park. It has the same effect of slowing down her slurping because she can't access as much water with the cubes floating in the way!
3OK the whole not matching thing sounds awful. The ice cubes are working, if they didn't this was my next step!
4I don't know this was a prob. for dogs....hummm
5Jack really needs this-he drinks like he's dying of thirst, and looks like he's trying to drown himself as he goes in over his nose!!!!! Not good with a long beard when he then shakes his head and sprays the world.
6love it...lucy is famous for gulping her water up and sometimes getting a little sick after!
