Even if you're not down with coordinating with your furry friend, Thurman Murman's constantly rotating leash collection got me thinking – is it necessary to match the leash to the collar or harness?
While Samson's sporting a set here, I know my pooch has many more harnesses than leashes . . . but he still has that basic black Flexi that just seems to go with everything. I make an effort to at least grab a leash that looks OK with the harness I slip on – how about you?

My baby has matching ones!
1even though i voted that i grab whatever is closest ... last weekend i bought a darling black and deep purple agility lead with matching collar. my pup has at least two dozen collars but i couldn't resist - the leash was so cute ... it needed a matching collar.
2since i've been buying lupine, they've been matchy matchy!
3I try to match but if I can't find the matching leash quickly I'll grab whatever is available.
4Sammie is really growing!
5I started out buying matching collars and harnesses, but there are so many cute collars that do not have matching harnesses in meidium - large sizes. I recently purchased black and brown step-in harnesses. Now I can match almost any collar to my hearts content! She has leather leashes in pink, red, brown, and black, too. Yes, I freely admit my baby is spoiled rotten!
6I totally go with matching leash collar combo. The problem with harnesses is that they don't always come in matching colors or patterns so it's hard.
7Viva has a matching houndstooth leash and collar, but I'm looking for a nice pink set. I want people to know she's a girl and stop calling her a boy.
