When a friend stumbled upon these pups, he had to send the link to me! I mean, first off, they're smooshies, and secondly, they seem to be a rather rare breed color.
I can safely say I've never spotted a French Bulldog with this bluish coloring up close. Utah breeder Bullbank has the five pups from France we see here — although they're not up for sale, you can see how cute they are! Even their names are absolutely adoro: Shooter, Dr. Dolittle, Azurro, Rhadamanthys, and The Wild One.

How cute!
1So Adorable!!!!
2sooooo cute!!!
3almost makes me want another puppy hahahaha
Blue Frenchies are a disqualification of the French Bulldog standard. Don't fall for "rare colors" marketing. Read the statement by the National parent club: http://www.frenchbulldogclub.org/ht/display/ArticleDetails/i/5278
For anyone wanting a French Bulldog, take the time to educate yourself. Stay away from puppy mill dogs, import brokers, and backyard breeders. This site can help: http://www.thewrongpuppy.org/
4What cuties!
5soooooo adorable!
6Oh my, those little ones are sooo pretty!
7they are gorgeous! see? You don't need a clone to have a beautiful pup.
8how adorable. i am not a big fan of this breed but this color is great.
9"Blue Frenchies are a disqualification of the French Bulldog standard. Don't fall for "rare colors" marketing."
Who cares about the standard? I'm not showing my dog. My Boston Terrier has one blue eye which disqualifies her. And I couldn't love her more! It's good advice to stay away from mills and to research your breeder and/or look for a rescue. But don't NOT get a dog because you can't show it!
10I want one!!!
11OM FREAKIN G!
How cute?????
And right on dzymzlzy! I couldn't care less if my dog is purebread, disqualified for some reason or another, etc. I want my dog to be a companion, not a bank. That's ok for some, but thats just not me.
12OMG!!! They are so cute!
13How ADORABLE!!! This makes me want to go get one of these French Bulldogs right this second! Awwwwwww
14Who cares if it doesn't meet breed standards that should not be a reason you bring a pet into the home!
15They're like 2 little ephelunts, very cute.
16fishy.... I have yet to see a photo of a blue French Bulldog where the grass color was not off! If they stopped altering the color of the photos so the public could see what color they really are, that would be nice. Anyone willing to falsify photos they basically use to advertise is NOT someone I would feel was safe to buy from!
17Actually, "blue" is not a disqualification ... "mouse" is a dq... whatever color mouse is. Personally, I think mouse is a rodent or a computer pointie thing.
Regardless, blue frenchies are beautiful. Well, all frenchies are beautiful, blues just happen to be another shade of beautiful.
18so cute!!!
19to froggies:
20mouse is what the standard refers to as blue, grey, or any of that shade. some even say that mouse includes the sable, but either way blue is, unfortunately, a dq. if the dog isn't "brindle, fawn, white, and brindle and white" according to the akc, it is a dq. the doggie could be purple and its still not showable. i am a fan of the blues myself and will hopefully have a blue litter soon. it is unfortunate that these beautiful babies are disqualified because of their color, when their bodies are perfect show quality. the only way we can get them in the show ring is to breed more of them and then the akc will consider it, but until more breeders request them to be accepted, they'll stay dq. the standards are changable, but the akc won't til enough breeders fuss. i can't wait til the day!
I hope I don't get to much hate mail. I am in no means a "backyard" breeder. My adorable French Bulldog, Molly, gave birth to two puppies. This is my first experience with puppies and its my last. Beating all odds, Molly, gave birth to a RARE blue Frenchie. Google "Rare Blue FB" for a better understanding of the breed and rareness. Some consider it the "Ferrari" of ALL dogs and often compared to a white elephant or red diamond. Re-homing fee does apply, but more importantly the pup would only go to a healthy loving home. To even be considered, I would like a full essay on why you deserve such a rare dog and your plans to take care of it.
The puppy WILL NOT come with AKC papers AND will be spayed before given to her new family. She is being sold solely to be a family member and not exploited or for breeding purposes. i love these dogs like family! Please do not bother sending me an email if you only send a couple of sentences and/or only including an offer.
Please do not flag! I fully support pet adoptions, but love Bulldogs. Again, I am not a "backyard" breeder. This is my first set of puppies and I've owned dogs my entire life; specifically bulldogs for over 5 years.
She just happened to get pregnant at a French Bulldog "meet up". It was in the early stages, so I had no idea she was in heat or trust me there is no way on God's green planet I would of taken her out in public. Thank you...I hope you all understand, this is not easy for me to do. Almost as hard as parting ways with the beautiful pup.
21BLUE FRENCH BULLDOG PUPPY FOR SALE! Would only consider a family in the Los Angeles area. Please email me for pictures...

Thanks.

22I think blue is a really cool color..and also think these pus are cute. But they lack substance and they have horrible faces for a frenchie. Much too chihuahua like.
23All puppies are cute...but don't let anyone tell you that any color in a breed is "RARE" thats a joke. Blue or mouse for this breed is a DQ and highly undesirable for any french bulldog breeder. Or rather any good french bulldog breeder. Karl a blue french bulldog puppy is far from a ferrari its more like a fail. I don't mean to be a jerk. And apologize if I'm being frank. But I hate it when crapy breeders prey on uninformed buyers with lame catch phrases like "rare" when referring to something that is intentionally not done buy breeders out to improve a breed. These back yard breeders would like you to believe that they are some how better breeders for producing this elusive color. When in fact all it shows is a complete lack of care or respect for the breed as a whole and more times then not the puppies are born just to line the pockets of said "breeder". Karl I do respect and appreciate you not letting your puppy leave your home intact THANK YOU! But on the other hand I don't believe your female got pregnant on accident. Anyone that has bred a frenchie knows the process is painful lol. To say the least. And that is if they are capable of breeding naturally at all. You would have had to leave her unattended loose with a male for a long while and your very lucky they didn't over heat in the process. But your story is your story. The pups pictured above are cute. But they are horrible examples of the french bulldog breed. They grossly lack bone and substance for the breed. And they have elongated muzzles.
