AAAWWWWWW!!

Oh yes... one of my cats used to jump up on top of our monitor and sleep on it (cause it was warm I guess). We recently had to replace our computer and got a flat screen monitor and more than once he's jumped up there and fell cause there's no place to land, lol.

I have a friend whose cat would sleep on her laptop (which makes sense, because it's warm) ... but her cat would attack the keyboard and kept on pulling out keys!

My cats IM people. No joke! I'll come home and a few IM/ g-chat buddies have gotten such insightful messages as "66666666666666666gsgs" or "bnnnnnnnnnnnnbnbbbbddddd"

My baby loves to walk around the keys and swat at the mouse! I just cant stand when he sits and I'm stuck trying to type around him.

Kittens love the computer because it emits warmth and noises when it runs, kind of like their mom! My cat would always sit on my laptop, and try to get under the fridge because of the same reasons. They miss their mommy.

Mine don't get on the computer, but they do get on me whenever I'm on the computer. It was all right back when they were teeny little kittens that actually fit on my lap, but now that they're both strapping 15-pounders, not so much. Still, I'll live

The only thing my dogs think of the computer is that it distracts me from them.

haha all these stories are so cute! my cat never cared about the computer growing up, but my friends cat sleeps on her laptop and cruises on it when she's typing or has it open. We think she does it to get her to close it so she sleep on it haha

Bubba sleeps on top my laptop when its closed.
If I leave it open, he will get on the keyboard and clean and then run off like a mad man.
And if I am online and he is nearby, he will jump on it and just stand and wait for his 5 minutes of attention before he leaves to sit on the nearby table.

Everytime Simba walks across my laptop keyboard he hits the right combination to hide all of my task bars and address bars. Every time.

Rosie sits on top of my computer monitor because she's worked out the air vents on it are warm!

My baby loves walking across the keyboard or planting herself in front of the monitor to watch me play my first person shooters. I guess it makes her feel like she's living the dream (or blastin baddies)

Back when I had a desktop, my cat would lay down right on the keyboard while I was using it. He messed up a lot of essays, but I love him anyway.

Callie loves to sit on the laptop keyboard and follow the mouse around. She's pretty good at sending IM's and closing programs too. If I get her off of the keyboard, she'll sit as close as she can to watch what I'm doing.

Aw, precious! I miss my little kitty Lennox. He was quite intrigued by the computer and would lay on my lap as I typed college papers. Good times.

Only one of my cats is obsessed with my laptop. He likes to sleep on it while it's open resulting in lots of crazy stuff happening on the screen. My other cat just likes to watch the cursor move around but doesn't really go after it.

Maggie lays on top of the monitor & hangs over the screen so she can see what's going on.

Absolutely! My cats always lay on my keyboard or block the screen when they want attention.

My cats like to sit on top of the mouse! And they love blocking the screen and meowing for attention. They don't really care about the keyboard, for some reason.

All the time. I have one that is always messing with the keyboard and they both constantly try to push my hand away from the mouse to be petted. I pet them with my left hand and they still keep on till I pet them with my right hand.

Totally... My kitty ALWAYS types some thing on my keyboard, when i am or am not around! XD

my cat used to love sitting infront of the keyboard watching the monitor and chasing the mouse around. He was also really good at sitting ontop of the printer - that really was his fav place

This kitten is too cute. My Cat will only lay on the keyboard when im doing something important, like writing a story or homework.

my kitten typed in awwwwwwwwwwww on a ebay search. Hes a clever little thing, as i am typing now he is currently sitting behind the screen of my laptop, right were the fan is!!

When Moosie was a kitten, and I had a larger desk (different house) he would always,always lay on my arm with his head on my keyboard while I worked or gamed.

He's too big now, and the desk is too small, so he has moved on to laying on the laser printer..

He also had a thing as a kitten, (When I used to play Warcraft) of being fascinated anytime my characters were flying. I have a shot somewhere of him with his paw on the screen trying to touch the toon as it flew and at least 2 of him laying all over the keyboard.

As for typing, no, he's a total klutz! Unless you count typing with his head.

My cat is totally jealous of the computer. Whenever I get on, Elliott jumps up and plants himself in front of the moniter. Once, he must have REALLY wanted attention, because when I told him in my "naughty cat" voice to get down, he just gave me a pointed look and placed his kitty butt sqarely on my mouse. He won that battle; I had to leave the desk so I could wash my mouse!

my cat does like the computer but she prefers papers or books (she's a traditional sort )

the pigeon, however, is totally obsessed with the computer. she LOVES typing to make "things" happen, like she sometimes holds down the contrast buttons and watches the screen go black or makes the alert sound go off endlessly... and her favourite is traipsing around til the cd drawer opens at her and she acts all surprised and takes off... goofus!

Hahah, my cat does the same thing if she wants attention and I'm giving attention to the "machine" She'll walk right across the keyboard or flatten my laptop right out and lay on it.

Usually then I pay attention to her. she's spoiled like that.
