With chubby lil bodies (and smooshy faces) that we love so much, a Frenchie wouldn't go over well in the deep end! So, instead of jumpstarting some swimming lessons, lacornflakegirl pampered her Babar by letting him take a dip in a kiddie pool!

This is a great way to beat the heat for those furry friends who like to cool off, but don't want to get their heads wet. It's better than letting a pup swim in your pool because dogs seem to always want to take a sip, either from a
hose, the
faucet, or even
something naughtier . . . and chlorine is dangerous. If you ever let pets frolic this way, share your wet 'n' wild tips below!
i have a plastic kiddie pool for lucy. she loves it and knows it's just for her. it's a great way for her to be outside with me with the ability to cool off.
1OMG SO CUTE!
2I can't wait until my puppy!!!
3 weeks!!!
i've tried the blow up pools but have found the plastic ones work best - they don't pop if the pup bites the side or digs at the bottom. my pups love their pool - they get one every summer.
3That is an adorable video!! I've tried this with my dogs b/c they just love to swim so much, but they don't seem to like the water when their paws touch the ground. Its funny, I thought they would love it, but wouldn't go near it, they would much rather swim around in my parents or in laws "real" pools. But they are good swimmers so it doesn't worry me too much. Except of course when Auggie drops his heavy toys in the deep end and then tries to go after them. He can dive under water but only about 3 feet so the 10 foot deep end is no good for sinking toys!!
4OMG Babar and Samson need to meet
I love French Bulldogs!
5I always had a plastic kiddie pool for my golden retriever in the summer and he loved it!
6I love his crazy jump out of the pool at the end of the vid.
7Aww I wish B-Bop liked the water!
8I have a plastic kiddie pool for my Husky and Jack Russell and we put in some rockery rocks and feeder fish and my dogs go to town to try and catch the fish (the rocks are to give the fish some hiding places) and yes my dogs will eat the fish.
9Ha! He loves the splashes!
"Look what I can do with my paws!"
