Now my childhood cat reeeeally enjoyed her fragrant toys, but somewhere out there you'll find furry felines that love staying catnip free. Bottles, blossoms, or birds, can your cats ever get enough of the green stuff?

My cat doesn´t even notice catnip´s existance. She smells, eats a little, nods (thinking "eeeew") and goes away. (While i put a "stupid" on my forehead with a pack full of catnip in my hands!)
1lol
I read somewhere that older cats enjoy it more than kittens, and that is true for my cat. He's 4 and LOVES catnip now, but had no interest in it whatsoever when he was little. The kitten I have now has no interest in it, either.
2my cat goes nutty for it - when i sprinkle it on his scrater pad he rolls in it, licks it, scratches, etc. i've heard it has a 'high' effect on them and i believe it!
3I have a catnip plant outside on my patio and my kitten loves when I take clippings off of it and give her some!
4Colby loves it! He rolls around in it and eats it too. He used to chase me down the steps every morning and sit in his spot, waiting for some. But then he gets over it, a few months later he is back to the routine.
5My cat didn't bother with it until now. She was an outdoor cat for years and now we don't let her outside. I don't think she enjoys it as much as killing small animals, though. I'm still searching for some toys that will keep her occupied.
6I have 5 cats... some of them go apesh*t and others just treat it like some stuff we put on the floor. It's funny.
7Mine figured out that if they knock the plastic container thingy onto the floor and mess with it for long enough, they can get it open.
Little junkies.
8bubba and nootie are recreational users but little gray kitty turns his nose up at it which is pretty weird to me
9actaully outta my 6 recent cats none liked cat nip at all..
10Oliver isn't one to flame up the catnip bong. He's got a nip stuffed banana that, 99.9% of the time, he uses as a body pillow during his many, many naps. My theory is that for him to get that excited would require too much energy, only for him to get the munchies...which he ALWAYS has.
11Not nearly as much as he likes Bag Balm. That stuff makes him crazy!
12My cat Allie goes crazy with catnip, it's so cute!
13My husband calls catnip "Kitty Pot" because seriously, it makes Eliot go absolutely crazy. He starts batting at the carpet and if we get out the laser pointer, he REALLY goes nuts. It's sort of a short-lived high for him though...it only lasts a few minutes and then he's super tired, lol.
