I try to surf other Sugar sites everyday to see what's going on around the network, and I jumped over to geeksugar yesterday to see that sweet crystal cupcake bag, made by Judith Leiber that we saw in the Sex and the City movie. When I clicked over to the Leiber website, I was blinded by the amount of bling adorning all those bags! To my surprise, Judith Leiber not only encrusts cupcake evening bags with crystals, but designs crystal animal bags too!
As pretty as these bags are to look at, I'm not sure how I feel about taking one out on the town. Unless of course it was a wildlife or animal fundraiser, in which case I'd be the first one on board! If money were no object (since some of these bags cost upwards of four grand), would you choose a crystal encrusted evening bag in the shape of an animal?

I think these are absolutely beautiful, and if I owned one, I would own it with pride!
1However, this would not involve actually carrying the thing anywhere – unless it were for a very very important cause, like an animal cause, as you mentioned, pet, and if I really wanted to make a loud and unmissable statement.
But I really do think the skill and talent are incredible – look how real the snake looks, and even the little doggie. The colour use is perfect, proportions are precise, and her brand of originality is so likeable!
