When the weather heats up this Summer, there's no doubt that you and your pampered pals will be outside spending some quality time with the BBQ, sprinklers, and endless hours tossing tennis balls. But the one thing you probably don't want to spend time with (but will no doubt be a big part of your Summer vacay) are those pesky wasps. You could string up a run of the mill wasp or fly trap – which can be big eyesore, especially if you're hosting a garden party – or you can get this fetching outdoor Wasp Trap ($31) from Menu.
Menu's organic wasp trap will keep the pests away from you, your food, and Fido's fave lounging spot. With a simple formula of sugar and vinegar, this trap is not only safe, but nice to look at too. To empty, just pull out the funnel, which also acts as a stopper. Hopefully this trap can help ensure that your days (and evenings) this Summer will be spent with more relaxing, and less swatting!

I don't know if we really have wasps around here. I wish they made something like this for Spiders!!
1How do you know if there are any live wasps in it before you go dumping the funnel? At least with the bright yellow ones you can see the bees.
2This sounds very interesting!
3I had what I thought was a potential wasp issue in the making a couple years back. I looked on the internets and found that you can make a wasp trap using a two liter soda bottle. Can't remember the method, but the trap could be made for peanuts price-wise.
4So, anyone have it? We don't really have a wasp problem here, more of a mosquito thing.
