When I was recently scoping out the merchandise at Ikea, I spotted this sleek pet bed. If you simply replicated it about 10 times as big, it'd look like a chaise fit for your apartment! The high design is great for pets who like checking out their surroundings while resting a lil paw or head on that "armrest." With solid birch legs, the red and black pattered cover is removable and machine washable in case Fido takes a PB-filled Kong up there! Costing $70, the price is a bit steep for Ikea but not that much compared to other people-worthy designs we've seen in our spoiled polls. What do you think — is it worth it?

I saw this at Ikea and wanted to buy ti for Kit, but I really couldn't see her laying and sleeping on it...
1Oh, $70, that's nothing.
My fiance bought our dogs beds that cost between $300-$400 each several times now and so far our mutt has eaten four of them.
Uh, yeah, we've switched to just using old sheets for them now.
2I LOOOOOOOOOOOVE pet furniture! Its such a nice change from some of the decor hindering beds available. Your pet is comfy and your living room still looks posh!
3Not really my style. Yay, I just saved $70!
4Thats adorable
5It's fun ... but our cats would perfer to sleep on OUR bed
6Just my luck, I would get it for my pup, and she would never use it
7i actually purchased this for my kitty Rory. I bought a king size heating pad to put under the fabric cover of the bed and he loves it. when i come home from work i find him sleeping on this 7 out of 10 times.
8Ikea needs to rule the world. Now if I can just get them to build a store in Iowa I can move in with my 5 cats!
