Although I normally browse my local Ikea for home furnishings and accent pieces, recently I've been dropping some goodies in my yellow bag for North as well. Surprisingly, this shop has a pretty good selection of quirky pet products to pamper your pals – and protect your wallet, too! Since it's easy to find stuff I absolutely love for my apartment at a great price, I guess saving a few bucks on beds and accessories for North is a no brainer! I even bought this Cat Tent ($7) for my kitty doggie on a recent trip. He seems to enjoy it even though he has trouble getting out without dragging the whole thing behind him across the floor. Hey, could I put a price tag on that kind of entertainment?!

6I bought the cat house/bed ($50) for my kitty and she absolutely LOVES it! She scratches it everyday to keep her claws nice and healthy and she lays on the top sunning herself all the time. I've had it for 4 years and it still looks like it did the day I brought it home. It's a great buy and kitties love it. I highly recommend it.
7A little over a year ago we bought our little bichon a dog tent from Target because we were traveling a lot with here. She loves it so much! I really want to take it down and just have a dog bed for her, but she's really attached to that tent.
8If North is having trouble getting in and out, you can do what I did for my dog (with the same tent) - just cut a slit up the top and bottom of the hole. My pooch was getting freaked out by the tent "following" him as he tried to exit
9Ooh! That's a good tip, ufshutterbabe. North definitely likes it but his harness hook is what trips him up, or should I say traps him.
10too funny!!! i had just read about how many toys do we have. i had mentioned that deanMartin is the kind to inventory his toys. well he puts them in that tent. toys go in the tent and chews reside next to it, larger toys go in a wire basket we gave him. we had a yorkie (passed on naturally of old age), he would walk into the tent and then walk up the wall til the tent tipped over, he'd lay in it that way for privacy we are guessing. when he was ready to come back out he stepped on the hard bottom of the tent (now the side) it rolled back over and out he came!!!!
11I have that exact kitty house for my cats! They love it and sleep inside it all the time. They actually fight over it sometimes too.
They also have a cute fleece blanket with a little cat print on it from Ikea too.
