Whenever my friend's pooch is feeling moody, or if there are too many people in the apartment, the dog heads straight into the bedroom and takes cover under her boyfriend's desk! During muggy summers in NYC, North loved to lie down on the cool bathroom tile floor and now, whenever I take a bubble bath, my naughty pup tries to hop up on the couch for snuggly shuteye before I can shoo him. Do your pets ever take refuge in a favorite spot . . . for better or worse? I wanna hear all about the nooks and crannies your furry friends call home in your comments below.

My do loves her dog bed in the family room. When we brought her home from the Humane Society, she immediately went to it. When my mom tried replacing it with a newer one, she refused to use it.
1Sara will always seek out a pile of laundry to sleep on. She will even deal with just one lone shirt if she can't find a nice big pile. Needless to say, she is not very helpful when it comes time to do the laundry...
2he has a recliner/chair that is basically his..
3B-Bop always sits on the top of the couch. He's smooshed down the cushins so they look at old now, but it's his favorite spot. While we're gone that's where he sits and waits for us.
4Tinkerbell loves her kennel. That is her safe spot but Oscar loves my lap. Some day he may learn to be brave but right now, he relies on me to protect all 6 lbs. of him.
5Myko will either hang out in his crate or on a fluffy pillow (that used to be mine, but he's taken it over) that I keep next to my bed.
6My bed for sure...
7Angus likes my bed, but when he cant get there, he loves the back of the couch to he can see everything going on around him haha!
8yes he likes the top of the sofa where he can look out the window and kick us in the head when he stretches
9Chase immediately sneaks into any spot that is warm from my recently-vacated butt! Couch, bed...doesn't matter! Wherever I was last sitting is where he wants to be
10And I love the puppy in this picture! His expression is priceless....and just like Chase's when he steals my spot! He's like "What??? I didn't do anything....please don't make me move." lol
11Bella will either head for my bed (if there are clothes on it), the couch (if there's a fallen cushion on it) or her bed. On colder sunny days though, she's always by the backdoor in a patch of sunlight.
12Anything black. It's like a magnet to my two white cats.
13Jeffrey LOVES to throw himself against the side of the couch. He also loves to curl up in the curtains and beskirts (with his head under the bed)
Kassie is always on the tile because she gets so hot. The rare time she is actually on the carpet she picks the spot that has the most padding
14my kitten loves her kitty condo
She sleeps in there pretty much everynight.
15my sheltie likes the corner of the couch with his head over the side. my aussie likes the guest room bed with her head propped up on the pillow. my other aussie likes to lay across feet. and, my kitty likes the top of the bed, in between the pillows.
16The couch and any piece of laundry.
17Sonny's favorite spot is next to me, wherever I am! At dinnertime, however, he's under my husband (who drops a lot of food and not even on purpose). During the winter, he lays on his big pillow. While we're gone, he lays against the couch facing the front door. At night, if he's not next to me on the floor, then he can be found on a pile of clothes. He's not allowed on furniture due to being a 95 pound shedding Golden Retriever...makes me sad because he loves to cuddle when I get on the floor with him!
18Asia loves the chair in the study.
Phoebe loves the back of the couch.
Dakota goes to his petbed in the kitchen floor.
Pearl- in the morning she lays on the couch, and during the afternoon and evening on her petbed on the living room floor. She doesn't really get moody or have a safe place.
Ginger usually follows me around and lands around my feet.
Simon loves my lap and to be under a blanket.
Jaxon does the same as Ginger. He especially loves the floor in the study.
Mr. Whigglesworth prefers either under our bed or his daddy's lap.
19Roxy likes to sleep under our bed, in her pet bed in our room and on one particular stair.
20Our bedroom. It used to be strictly under the bed, but i think she's growing out of that now. She loves to be in our bedroom and/or on the bed.
21Penny loves her crate when she is scared and her cat bed/blanket combo for general hanging out. Lately though, she has taken to snuggling in our dirty laundry hamper (which is our spare bathroom tub)...if she has been quiet for awhile we can look for her in there curled up with the dirty towels and socks.
22Dior and Sampson love sunbathing and if there are no warm patches of sunlight they will burrow under my covers on the bed
23where ever they want really
24Our Hurricane Katrina rescue likes to hang out under our bed... so we put a purr pad and an old rug under there for here
Our foster kittens love sleeping together in a kitty bed meant for one!
25OH MY GOSH PETSUGAR. MY PUP USED TO DO THE EXACT SAME THING EVERYTIME I TOOK RELAXING BATH. HOWEVER, THAT HAS STOPPED COMPLETELY. SHE NOW HAS HER OWN LOVE SEAT FROM IKEA AND SHE LOVES IT. SHE IS A LARGE DOG AND THEY DONT REALLY MAKE MANY BEDS IN HER SIZE SO I FIGURE WHY NOT.
26Charlie's favorite spot is this horrible hand-me-down orange fuzzy chair that we have. We only kept it around before we got him so that we would have extra seating for guests. Now it's HIS chair. I don't know what he'll do when we have to get rid of it.
27Daisy loves just about any spot that she can be underneath something; must be the "denning instinct". If she is on the couch with me, she'll crawl under a throw pillow. On the floor she crawls under the coffee table. The funniest is in the bathroom - while I shower, she sneaks behind the toilet and naps.
