Even though Ramon doesn't have a cute outfit on this time, he is sporting that telltale neckpiece. I'm guessing this conehead just got his lil snip snip done. Cuddling's great, but the dog needs to be in a carrier!
It's just not safe to have your animals unleashed & out of the house, whether you're holding them or not. What if something startles them (or you), and suddenly your animal is dropped and/or runs off. It could get hit by a car - I've seen this happen to a poor dog whose stupid owner was walking it w/out a leash - or caught & maimed by another animal, etc.

Forunately, my vet used a laser so Cuba did not have to endure the cone. He didn't even have stitches defnitely the way to go.
