So, at first glance, this Hanging Aquarium ($50) looks pretty cool. Meant for your Beta fish (and as a desk lamp), the compact hanging tank is illuminated by a small LED light on top, and comes in two finishes to satisfy your modern or antique tastes.
It seems that this would be another great solution to solve some of your space issues if you long for a nice aquatic touch in your pad, but I can't imagine putting fishies in it! I think it'd be better used as an awesome terrarium. What do you guys think – cool or totally uncool?

i had a few of those at my wedding with just decorations in them!
1i would never ever even concider having a fish in it though, way too small!

2i would be nervous about the bowl falling... not a good idea...
3I'd use it as a terrarium. I wouldn't take the chance with it getting knocked over with my little fish in it. It is cute though.
4It's really cute, but yeah, I wouldn't put a fish in it, either. The terrarium idea is cool!
5Its way too small for a fish. Bettas aren't meant to live in small containers, they're just sold that way. My betta lives in a 5 gallon tank and he's MUCH happier than the little plastic container he was living in before.
I think the terrarium idea is much better.
6I like it, but everytime I get a fish, they die like instantly. One of them even plunged itself head first into the gravel at the bottom of the tank.
7lol jillz! I'd use it as a terrarium or as some other decor.
8I can see all sorts of issues with this as a fish tank. Firstly, nothing much would fit in it - even if they started out that way. Betta's really ARE happier in larger tanks - those are way too small. Secondly ... if you accidentally bumped it ... you'd have a sea-sick fish (
) and
water all over.
