Hooray for another sleeping puppy! And look how precious lil Crimson looks with his poochie paws all up in the air. But, unlike this sleepy pooch we've seen before, the proud pet of Sunshine in Seattle is not a baby husky but instead a rare breed called an Alaskan Klee Kai. This handsome fella loves to run around and jump and play and holds the impressive title of Best Tug-of-War Player in the Entire World: Rope Bone Category. I especially like how this pooch got his name — if you're curious then just read more.
Crimson's mommy waited a long time for her pet and named him in spirit of her alma mater, Washington State University, whose colors are grey and crimson. Even more fitting, their rivals are the huskies . . . so it's extra important to note this pooch is not a husky after all. Seems like I'm not the only one who loves the animal mascots from college sports teams?!

Awww so adorable!
1I watched a thing on the KleeKai's. They're pretty expensive because they're still rare! Adorable!
2Cute pose. I've never heard of this breed. They do look similar to a husky. I love hearing how people name their dog. Cool!
3Gorgeous dog!
