The new CraZy Dog Pet Dryer may look like any other hair dryer, but it's actually a special 1875-watt hairdryer developed for canines.
The dryer's motor is housed in the handle of the unit, instead of the blower section, which mutes the sound. The creators claim this difference makes it "90 percent quieter than standard dryers," meaning it won't scare your pets quite as much as a normal dryer or vacuum might.
The new Groomer Has It show has me hooked on pet hair styling, but I am not convinced pups need their own hair dryers. What do you think?

If putting the motor in the handle makes it quieter, why can't human hairdryers be made that way too?
1Good question ladypenguin! Luckily for me, my dog can air dry
2I used to bathe dogs for a living and they used to freak out at the big noisy blow dryers. This would be ideal, but, only for smaller dogs. I wouldn't use it on a Husky or a Malamute or something!
3That is a really good idea. The sound from the dryer probably isn't good for their super-sensitive hearing anyway.
4My 7 pound rat dog would be thankful for this!
5He hates being blow dried!
But, he loves it afterwards!
He runs around like a loon when he's done!
He's Super Cute!
Anything to make them a little less scared of the dryer
6Am sure my little Shi Tzu would love this. She likes baths, but isn't crazy about having her hair dried with my hand hair dryer, even if I set it on low and cooler air. Clicked on the link and read the info on it, nice product. Interested in seeing if they sell it at our local pet store.
7my dog is a shedless breed which just means that as he sheds it gets stuck in his hair and you have to strip it out yourself. he has to be brushed and blown alot so i use an ionizing hairdryer. doesn't look lie this one is. i'm afraid this would be to hard on his skin.
8This would be awesome when it is cold outside and I don't want to let my dogs air dry. As it is I have to lock myself in the bathroom with them, sit on the floor and follow them with the hairdryer 2 feet away from them at all times. They hate the noise!
9Luckily my puppy is short haired and dries in about 3 minutes - 30 seconds in a towel, air for everything else.
