I've made no secret of my love for cupcakes so during my weekend in LA, Sprinkles was a must stop. With 20 (people) flavors, I was like a kid in a candy cupcake shop. And how sweet is it that they actually make puppy cupcakes with yogurt or carob frosting?! I was hoping a dog would wander by so I could buy him this treat and take his piccy while he enjoyed it . . . but, despite all the dogs I saw around Beverly Hills, there didn't happen to be any wandering down the street that morning. Boo. I knew this cupcake wouldn't make it home in my suitcase for North, but a new location will be opening at Stanford Shopping Center this summer, so I'll be able to drive down to the peninsula and pick up a cupcake for my pooch then!

1I LOVE Sprinkles!
I have yet to pick up Brando a pupcake from there, but his first

2I LOVE LOVE LOVE Sprinkles! SO Amazing!
3B-Bop has had the pupcakes before. They were okay, he just wanted the frosting part mostly haha!
Yummmm, cupcakes!
4OoOoOo!
5Can't wait til they come to Palo Alto.
I will definitely have to make the trip down once it's open.
Red Velvet Sprinkles cupcakes are THE BEST. I'm drooling just thinking about them!
I'll have to get a pupcake for Roxy one day!
6mmmm, I so want a cupcake right now!
7My baby, Raider, might live these. I've visit when it comes to PA.
8like, not live.
9Sprinkles' vanilla cupcakes are to die for! My mouth is watering just thinking about it!!
10O how cute! My dog is such a picky eater, he probably wouldn't like them, though.
11Pet, how did I miss you?! I was there on Saturday!
12sprinkles is totally overrated. I like the cupcakes from Toast or Joan's on Third WAY better.
13I'd love to watch a dog eat a cupcake!
14Oh, I can't wait until Sprinkles comes to Stanford. I will be there too.
15WOW - cupcakes for your dog? That is so LA.
16that is surely a yum-yum... teehee... dogs would definitely love it!!!!
17Well they are cute, but we've gotten them for our girls and they turn rock hard in a day. So be sure you treat your pups immediately (and FYI there's a little wrapper on there). You can bake pupcakes for your dog for about $2.50:
1 large apple (and/or peaches)
1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup oats
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tablespoons honey
2 eggs
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
For the Frosting
188 oz Neufchatel Cheese (lowfat cream cheese)
2 tablespoons plain yogurt
2 tablespoons honey
2-3 tablespoons flour
grated carrots
Those are just almost too cute to eat.
19FINALLY one in Palo Alto. Now I'll have Sprinkles for me and my dog only a block away!
20i can't wait either!! my dog LOVES going shopping with me...now he'll love it even more.
i had heard at one point there was going to be a pinkberry opening at stanford center, too (it was even on the directory briefly) but that seems to have fizzled. almost had TWO of my soCal favs right in my back yard. oh well. i hope sprinkles is open by my birthday this summer!
21How sweet ~ id go there just because they make cupcakes for dogs... i love that!
